Terms and Conditions
Vermont Organics Nursery is WHOLESALE only. No retail orders will be accepted. We request a minimum order of $300. Terms and conditions set forth on this website preclude all previously stated terms. Prices and terms are subject to change without notice.

All plants are guaranteed to be true to name. No claims will be honored unless reported within two weeks of receipt of goods. Any returned material is subject to a 20% handling charge.

All accounts are on a C.O.D. basis, unless credit has been established. All invoices on credit accounts are due at NET 30 days with a 2% discount extended to those paid within 10 days. This discount applies only to the wholesale value of the plants and does not include other charges such as, but not limited to delivery, royalty and/or shipping & handling charges.

2% interest per month (24% per annum) is assessed on all past due invoices. The buyer accepts liability for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees, on overdue accounts. After 60 days, accounts past due will forfeit all credit and revert to cash on delivery or cash in advance until brought up to date. All buyers must present a Tax Exemption number or be taxed.

Shipping & Delivery
We offer the following methods:

UPS GROUND service available for shipment on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday weather and delivery schedule permitting to ensure arrival by Friday. Other means of shipping are subject to mutual agreement. During periods of extreme heat or cold, UPS Air service can be arranged, though at a higher cost to the buyer. Shipping and handling charges are calculated by adding $4.00 per box for materials and handling plus actual shipping costs.

OUR TRUCK is available to deliver your orders meeting our 40 flat minimum. Delivery charges are based upon the mileage to our final destination as well as the size of your order. If this option suits you best, please make a request at the time of your order and we gladly provide a quote.

CUSTOMER PICK UP can also be arranged by calling one week in advance to schedule a pick up date and time.

Custom Orders
We will gladly undertake custom orders. Given sufficient notice, we can produce any plant in our listing, in any number or size. We will also consider propagation from stock provided by the consignee. Terms will vary by method, size of order, scheduled completion date, any special circumstances, and may require a non-refundable deposit of at least 25%.

Plants grown on a custom basis will be held for up to 30 days after scheduled completion date. After that time, they revert to the property of Vermont Organics Nursery and may be resold.

Sizes
Plants are sold in units of 50, 72 or 288 cells per 10"x20" flat. Most of the plants in our listing can be made available in 3.5" or larger pots with prior notice.

We encourage the return of any plastic which is still in sound condition, in the spirit of recycling for a cleaner environment.
